BUSINESS CARDS GUIDE
The business card represents your company's brand. Not only does it convey important personal contact information such as name, title, email, website, address and phone number, but oftentimes it is also the first exposure to the overall image of the business.

Here at The Pasta Printers, we use this guide to better categorize the different types of business card prints which will also help us provide a more accurate process in pricing, costing for paper wastage, and ink consumption.
Just like any other types of printed products, the design/image bleed is very important. This is to ensure that the back to back prints are centered well and avoid mis-cuts or uneven prints.
IT IS BEST TO PROVIDE 3 FILES FOR BUSINESS CARDS THAT ACT AS LAYERS. 1 BACKGROUND FILE, 1 FOREGROUND FILE (TEXT, ICONS, ETC.), AND 1 FILE WITH ALL FILES COMBINED THAT IS THE EXACT SAME SIZE AS HOW BIG THE ACTUAL BUSINESS CARD SHOULD BE PRINTED AND CUT. THIS IS TO MAKE SURE THAT IF WE NEED ANY ADJUSTMENTS, WE CAN MOVE THE SAME ELEMENTS AROUND WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE DESIGN.
STANDARD SIZE
The standard business card size is 2 inches x 3.5 inches (51 mm x 89 mm).

PRESERVATION
Business deals and marketing your brand is a lengthy process and that's why you need business cards that should be scratch-proof, weather proof, and as perseverant as you. We want to make sure that your business cards last longer for future use. It is best to place a protective top layer for your cards that also complements your design.
